De Queens Commerce and Psychology department faculty Dr.Reshmi P successfully defended her PhD on “Poverty Among Tribes: A study of Wayanad District, Kerala” from department of Economics, ZGC under University of Calicut, Kerala.

The thesis observed poverty among tribes concentrating mainly in the Wayanad district of Kerala. There are 11 tribal communities in Wayand and the intertribal differences existing amoung them was studied using Multidimensional Poverty Index. It’s an immense honour to have Dr. Reshmi part of the DQ family.
